Located one block from the beach PIT Surf Shop is the easiest place in St. Augustine to rent surfboards, body boards, bikes, or chairs for the beach. All of our rental surfboards are brand new! We have top of the line epoxy surfboards for rentals which are much better than some of the soft surfboards and plastic surfboards that are typically used for rental surfboards. Also new for this year we have all new bike rentals. We rent single speed beach cruisers (rental bikes have the wide tires) which are perfect for cruising on the hard sand or on the streets of St. Augustine. When visiting the beach it is always great to rent a bike and go for a early morning, or late evening cruise up the beach.
There are many options for how long you rent your surfboard, bike, body board, kayak, or beach chair, and the longer you rent for the cheaper the rate gets per day.
There are many places to eat or grab a drink within a short bike ride of the shop.
If you have never surfed before you can take a private lesson before renting a board, its the perfect way to start a week of surfing in St. Augustine! For kids ages 8-18 we offer week long surf camps all summer long.
