The Futures Fins Scimitar are a constant variable plane fin, that are based on a variable algorithm. Starting with Futures Vector foil, these fins twist from the base of the fin and then cants in near the tip. Futures does it on three different angles of the fin for maximum water attachment. These are a highly refined design and smooth riding surfboard fin that will hold through more of your turn. They are a very lively fin, and are best for rail-to-rail surfing.

They are a whole new twist on the Vector Foil series – and are the most extreme and latest in a long line of leaps in fin evolution. Starting with their Vector foil, the fin twists slightly from base to the lip, allowing for different plane angles which help to focus lift where the demands of your water pressure are at their highest, creating down-the-line drive near the base of the fin, all the way through to the tip of the fin for fin-releasing turns.
