JS Surfboards Blak Box

The JS BLAK BOX model offers a more full, curvy outline and a higher, more defined hip that is pulled from the fins into a straight directional tail curve through to the wider tail. Jason Stephenson has put a lot of time into this new model, which combines old school outlines and the latest bottom curves, all while showcasing plenty of detail. Once again JS has come up with another favorite amongst the pro team for smaller conditions. The entry rocker is extremely flat with and has a double scoop concave from  the chest that leads into a relatively deep double concave between the fins and  then into a single concave exit out through the tail. The deck on the Blak Box is flat, which gives the board an overall extra forgiveness that allows you to ride the board thinner than a normal performance board. You will find thismodel fast in the flat sections due to the extra foam that has been left under your chest and front foot and you can ride the Blak Box 3-4 inches shorter than normal.
