The latest and greatest small wave model from JS is V2.1. This model features a ­flat deck, a bottom rocker with a full vee running all through and combined with softer more forgiving rails. The JS Surfboards V2.1 is really easy to surf in small, weak conditions. This is because the rocker is both super smooth and low, which helps the board continue to hold speed through ­flat sections. The name V2.1 comes from the extended vee concave, larger front fins (which give more drive) and the small back stabilizer fin (for less drag and more release in turns). This combination gives the board freedom through the tail and makes it a loose and fast option for smaller conditions.
